The Field Is Not Empty
Why the stage is the substance.
We inherit a picture where space is the empty stage and objects are the actors. A field-first view flips it: the stage is not secondary. The stage is the substance.
What we call “things” are stabilized patterns within a continuous, living medium, and the medium is responsive. It reflects according to its own integrity, the way water answers a stone.
